The app allows carers keep tabs on their patients well being using an automated default sms message that gets sent out from their phone to the patients phone at set times through out the day. The patient will reply to this message with a single click on a tab that appears on their phone.A gps device also keeps track of the movements of the patient. The patients side of the app also has two further tabs, SOS and Emergency. SOS calls the carer and Emergency sends a help sms message to the ambulance service with the patients current location and his/her medical card.
